It is represented by black layered limestones of 800 m thickness with interlayers of clay slates, sandstones, and conglomerates.

Fossils

In the limestones, Murgab Nankinella orientalis K. M.-Maclay, Neoschwagerina cf. crimea Toum., N. cf. margaritae Depr., Verbeekina verbeeki (Gein.), Sumatrina sp. were found.
